What is Kolanticon?

Kolanticon is a medicine which contains a combination of drugs - aluminium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, dicyclomine and simethicone.

What symptoms does it treat?

Kolanticon is used to treat gastrointestinal spasms, flatulence, and hyperacidity.

How is it taken?

Kolanticon comes as a liquid.

I have had suffered with my bowels since I was small, but when I was 11 I was diagnosed with IBS and it has been a nightmare. Some days I feel great and others I just go downhill. My five years of having IBS has been hell, and I feel sick, bloated and very uncomfortable all the time. But when I take my medicine Kolanticon I feel a lot better.

I only take the medicine when I need to and that seems to help. My doctor did prescribe Colofac but I didn't feel that it helped. I don't feel like this all the time but it has ruined my life. I'm only 16 and I feel like I can't do anything my friends can do. I feel like I can't have fun with my boyfriend as it makes me feel down a lot.

The longest it has lasted for is two weeks and I really wasn't well with it, and then finally the doctor prescribed Kolanticon and that made me feel loads better. For all you sufferers out there I know how you feel.
